About Small Run Atlas and how we check listings
Small Run Atlas is a free directory of US apparel factories, sample rooms and studios that take small production runs. It exists because new brands keep hitting 300- to 500-piece minimums and out-of-date factory lists.
Where the information comes from
- Only public sources: each factory's own website, its listing in the free CFDA Production Directory, and in one case the company's own marketing article.
- Every stated minimum links to the page it came from, with the date it was checked. Where a minimum is a range the factory picked in the CFDA directory, we label it as a range, not a firm minimum.
- If no minimum was stated, we say "Not stated". We never estimate or fill in a number.
- Product and service tags come from the words each factory uses about itself.
- Facts are summarized in our own words, with only short phrases quoted. We don't copy factory logos or photos, and names are used only to identify each business.
- Last full check: 2026-11-03. Sources used: 31 websites.
What we leave out
- Listings whose website was down, expired or looked compromised when we re-checked them. They stay out until a re-check passes.
- Businesses with no stated US location.
- Brokers that only resell factory lists.
Factories: correct or remove your listing anytime
Listings are free. You can claim or correct your listing or ask us to remove it, and we honor every removal request.
Independence
No factory has paid to be listed, and listings are ranked alphabetically. If paid placements are ever offered, they will be clearly labeled as sponsored and will never change the facts on a listing.
